Why This Day Works
The Central Pacific coast covers a lot of ground, and this family exists so you’re not stuck with a fixed stop list that doesn’t match what your group actually wants from a beach day. The base architecture is the same across all three styles; what changes is the day’s focus.
Calm & Local keeps things easy, built around beach time and local spots at a relaxed pace. Surf & Flavor is the active version, organized around real surf time paired with food worth stopping for. Coast & Sunset stays easy but is built around the coastline itself, ending at Hermosa for the view as the sun goes down.
A couple of things stay fixed no matter which style you pick. Hermosa on the sunset day is a view stop, not a guaranteed swimming spot, and the day doesn’t run late without arranging that separately ahead of time.
We won’t promise clear water, a swimmable beach, or a picture-perfect sunset. The coast changes day to day, and what we can actually control is the pace, the stops, and making sure the day matches what your group came for.

- We pick you up and bring you back in Alajuela and around it, Heredia, and San José as far as San Pedro. If you are staying past that, in Cartago or Tres Ríos for example, write to us and we will look at it.

- The vehicle and the host are yours alone. The beaches and the restaurants are public spaces, and the supplier's activity runs on its own format, which we tell you before you book.

Seasonality
Coastal conditions along the Central Pacific shift with the season and the day, so we build the itinerary around what the water and weather are actually doing rather than promising surf, swimming, or a particular sunset.
We plan around the conditions we actually get that day. We never guarantee weather, wildlife or views.

We can't guarantee it. Swimming conditions and water clarity along the coast vary, and we're honest about what a given spot looks like that day.
Is Hermosa good for swimming at sunset?
On Coast & Sunset, Hermosa is a stop for the surf view as the sun goes down, not a default swimming spot.
What's the difference between the three styles?
Calm & Local and Coast & Sunset both run easy, relaxed to balanced pace, with different focuses, general beach time versus the evening coastal stop. Surf & Flavor is the active version, built around real time in the water paired with local food.
Can we extend the day if we're having a good time?
Not without arranging it separately and in advance. There's no paid late-return extension added on the fly.
